maybe with some mods? i don't really know. there is no current way to still play the multiplayer of GTA IV (eflc) today. *multiplayer will be removed, no matter what method you choose. (just like installing GTA V on RL, or any other game on Steam). thus, you won't need to use the disks at all. Downloading and installing this patch you will be able to fix a series of errors which will make the gameplay much more enjoyable.
the installation will be also easier, probably, as it will download and install the game by itself. Since all GTA games have been flawed more or less, its also normal for Grand Theft Auto 4: Episodes from Liberty City to comes with a number of bugs. My suggestion is to wait until tomorrow and get it on the Rockster Launcher, as it will come with GFWL removed by default. basically, it gets rid of GFWL and lets you save the game, of course without multiplayer. If you decide to install the game this way, you might want to you xliveless. however, i haven't used the offline installer and installed the game normally from the two disks. it works just fine even in 2020 and gives you a new generated key, which i think you can use for the Offline Installer they have. In conclusion, they are going to allow you to get your Rockstar Launcher copy (probably), when the game becomes available on that platform, using your physical activation keys.Īctually, i have used the Activation Revoker in the past. If you want to read more about it, consider checking out the Steam page, or maybe their Newswire. All users will need to be connected to the internet and authenticate their copy of the game. Note: New activations from players trying to install current copies of Grand Theft Auto IV may be disrupted until Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition is available. However, the game is not available on Steam yet, so the process won't be available until it is. Games not previously activated using Games for Windows Live will be able to use the Key on the back of the game manual to activate and update to Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition.i think that they announced that when they made the announcement about the game coming back on Steam as the Complete Edition and not two separate games.
I've heard that there is a way to make use of your physical copies of the game.
